Filipino wins International Flash Contest
September 26, 2002 - Glen Dizon, an engineer and beginning
game developer from Mandaluyong won an internet competition
besting entries from around the world with his "Rubik's
Cube" submission.
The contest was held by FlashMove.com, a website discussion
board for Macromedia Flash enthusiasts, to celebrate its second
anniversary. FlashMove invited contestants from all over to
submit entries that showcases their best work.
Dizon's victory, while modest, is a prime example that the
Filipino'screativity is truly world class.
Glen, currently an instructor and former student of Flash
Pro, has already filed leave of absence to enter an even bigger
competition and make the country proud.
The Rubik's Cube, also Glen's final project in his Game Development
