Lawmakers to hold consultative hearing on House bill in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Nov. 25 (PNA) — Members of the Committee on Public Order and Safety of the House of Representatives will hold a consultative hearing with regard the draft substitute bill filed in the Lower House entitled, “An Act providing for the Reorganization and Modernization of the Philippine National Police and Appropriating Funds” in the province on Thursday.

The meeting will be held at the Sison Auditorium here, to be attended by congressmen and local government officials. The activity will be in coordination with the provincial government led by Governor Amado Espino Jr.

Provincial Information Officer Orpheus Velasco said the consultative hearing will be followed by a press conference in the same venue. (PNA)
