DAGUPAN CITY, Sept. 17 (PNA) — The city of Dagupan will hold its first Robotics Science Fair from Nov. 6 to 8 at the CSI Stadia.
This was contained in a memorandum of agreement signed in Manila recently by Director Josette Biyo of the Science Education Institute (SEI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Mayor Belen T. Fernandez.
The signing was witnessed by Ruby Cristobal of the DOST’s Science and Technology Manpower Education Research and Promotions Division and Marge Navalta, technical consultant of the Local Government of Dagupan.
Under the MOA, DOST and the city government will organize activities such as robotics exhibits, demo games, training, water rocket launching competition.
The three-day activity will be co-sponsored by the Department of Education (DepEd) through the City Schools Division.
Mayor Fernandez said the Robotics Science Fair will enable students from Dagupan and Pangasinan be abreast of modern science and technology as part of their education. (PNA)
