MANILA, July 25 (PNA) — The government is working round the clock to implement various programs and projects to benefit many Filipinos, a Palace official said on Friday.
Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr. stressed this amid Thursday’s Senate hearing on the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) controversy where Budget and Management Secretary Florencio Abad explained the allocations of DAP funds.
Coloma said the Executive branch is undertaking various programs, activities and projects.
Coloma expressed hope that public will have a better understanding of how DAP worked.
The Supreme Court early this month declared some provisions of the DAP unconstitutional.
The government has filed its motion for reconsideration on the SC’s ruling on the program. (PNA)
