Inaanyayahan po namin kayong lahat na magpadala ng mga likhaing
nais ninyong maisama rito sa pahinang bukod-tanging inilaan para
sa mga mambabasa. Maaari ninyong maipadala sa amin
ang inyong kontribusyon at bibigyan po namin ito ng pagkakataong
maitanghal dito sa ating pahina. Maghihintay po kami! Maraming salamat.
The night before, we prepared all of Diego's
things from a pretty long list that the teachers gave us --
from crayons to throw pillows to aprons to shoeboxes. I never
realized that a small boy could need so much. (I never realized
that a pre-school would cost so much either!)
THERE are songs, poems and other pieces of
literary work which could make a pendulum out of our emotions.
These are the songs and poems whose lyrics and lines could
take us from one extreme mood to another. These are the works
of art that touch our hearts and stimulate our minds. These
are the notes and rhymes that permeate the human soul and
awaken a consciousness long in slumber.
Everybody agrees that being an outstanding
mother and wife is a great achievement. We cannot praise them
enough, the pillars of our society and home. But let's not
overly focus on these roles as if they were the sole reasons
for the existence of women on this planet.
