Witness convention concludes with
focus on the future
CHIBA- Jehovahs witnesses encouraged all young people
to build their future in harmony with Bible principles during
the concluding sessions of their 2002 Zealous Kingdom
Proclaimers Convention held at the Chiba Assembly Hall
of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Many young people face the challenge of how they will use
their lives. We feel that Bible principles are the best
guide to help our children make wise decision for their future,
states Mark Taitano, father of two children and one of Jehovahs
witnesses since 1981. His wife, Chihiro, agrees, We
want our children to get the best out of life. The Bible principles
we discuss as a family can be a real protection.
The discourse aimed at young people was followed by the presentation
of a costumed drama, Stand Firm in Troublesome Times.
This drama featured the prophetic work of the ancient prophet
Jeremiah.
The convention focused as well on recent world events that
have caused many to seek meaningful answers. Jay Reese, a
traveling minister in the Kanto area, spoke on The Scene
of this World is Changing. He elaborated, It is
amazing to see how the Bible clearly outlined that such events
would take place.
About 1,500 people attended the sessions. *
