I, Robot

In 2035 there is a murder at U.S. Robotics and a robophobic policeman, played by Will Smith, believes robots are responsible. I, ROBOT, is a takeoff from the world of Isaac Asimov’s robot world, but it is not a film the futuristic writer would have enjoyed. The film falls flat in its portrayal of a conspiracy involving robots. The robots’ behavior is examined and anlyzed in terms of Asimov’s laws of robotics, but not very convincingly. Nevertheless, the mix of live action and animation is almost seamless, and that is the main draw.
