PT Online Update

Leaps and bounds
The PT online phenomenon never fails to amaze
us. Shortly after the launching of our very first online essay
writing contest, stats indicated that our online readership
has more than doubled (see accompanying plot). Our average
hits per day now exceeds 10,000, while the average pageviews
now hover above 1,000 per day. Average visitors to the site
exceed 500 per day. And these numbers are still increasing!
Our online campaign to boost the site has successfully launched
PT as a much widely-read online newspaper.
Our heartfelt thanks to all faithful PT readers for spreading
the information about our essay writing contest! All entries
are currently posted online at http://www.philippinestoday.net/essay2002/.
Furthermore, we encourage our online readers to participate
in our interactive feature where articles can be given scores
or ratings. Please await the announcement of the winning entry
on December 15, 2002.
