Entrepreneurship
courses for OFWs kick off this year
The Philippine Embassy, in cooperation with
POLO-OWWA, offer entrepreneurship lessons anew under the new
program Biznes Courses ng Bayaning Pinoy (BCBP) from November
17 this year. The aim of the program is to equip workers with
knowledge for reintegration upon their return to the Philippines
and thus protect their savings and investments from years
of labor in Japan. Venue for the courses will be the Philippine
Embassy in Roppongi, Tokyo.
Among the lessons offered are as follows:
Marketing for Busy Pinoys (2~6 PM, November 17)
Accounting for Non-accountants (2~6 PM, November 24)
Investments and Business Frauds (2~6 PM, December 8)
Starting up a business (2~6 PM, December 15)
Computer Lessons for Business Management (Nov. 17~Dec. 15
for a fee of ¥17,000)
Unlad Kabayan Training Program (Nov. 17~Dec. 15 for a fee
of ¥17,000)
One may choose one or all of the above courses,
depending on his or her availability. A certificate of achievement
will be conferred to anyone who finishes a course. For inquiries,

Yuletide concert topbills Zsa Zsa
Padilla
A star-studded concert, including Zsa-Zsa Padilla, Janice
de Belen, Dingdong Dantes, Gellie de Belen, Marissa Sanchez
and Gabby Eigenman, will usher this years Pinoy Christmas
season in Japan on December 8 at 10:00 AM at the Omori Belle
Port Atrium in Shinagawa-ku Tokyo.
Dubbed Diwa ng Pasko 2002, the event will simultaneously
launch the Mr. & Ms. Little Japan and Show Gay 2002. For

ANNOUNCEMENT
Bingo fiesta moved to December 8
The Philippine Embassy wishes to announce that the bingo
fiesta sponsored by the Philippine Assistance Group (PAG),
earlier slated for November 10 at the old Embassy grounds
in Shibuya, is postponed to December 8, on the occasion of
the Thanksgiving and Christmas Party for the Filipino Community,
from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the new Embassy in Roppongi, Minato-ku,
Tokyo. PAG is a federation of Filipino organizations in Japan
whose main objective is to look after the welfare of distressed
Filipinos.
